While taking us around the country to meet the diverse community of L.G.B.T.Q.I.A. that he is helping through his NGO*, Gopi shares his story of the struggle to bring human rights to his community. *The NGO Gopi Shankar founded, the Institution Srishti Madurai, aids people in situations of violence, sexual slavery, and in the process of gender transition, as well as fighting to end the involuntary gender assignment of intersex infants.
