Kilberg’s projects have won awards at major film festivals including Sundance and have been acquired by top distributors worldwide including Lionsgate, Universal, HBO, Showtime, IFC, and more. He recently produced the BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB follow up documentary w/ 2x Oscar nominated director Lucy Walker and 3x Oscar nominee Wim Wenders Executive Producing, as well as THE SONG OF SWAY LAKE from Sundance award-winning director Ari Gold. Zak is currently executive producing the NY Times bestselling memoir GUANTANAMO DIARY, with Oscar winning director Kevin Macdonald and produced by Benedict Cumberbatch (DOCTOR STRANGE, THE IMITATION GAME), as well as the critically-acclaimed book SAY HER NAME with BAFTA-nominated producer William Horberg (THE KITE RUNNER, COLD MOUNTAIN) and Oscar nominated screenwriter Scott B. Smith (A SIMPLE PLAN). He also recently signed on to produce the untitled 1921 Tulsa race riot feature film directed by Tim Story (FANTASTIC FOUR, RIDE ALONG, BARBERSHOP).
